Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

As we remember John F. Kennedy around the 50th Anniversary of his assassination, I found this quote from his son, John Kennedy Junior about the death of his mother, Jackie. What a beautiful description of her death, and how well it fits into the ethos of Chester Pearce Funeral Service. He said;
"My mother died surrounded by her friends and her family and her books and the people and the things that she loved. She did it in her own way, and on her own terms, and we all feel lucky for that."
We strive, and work with families to achieve a similar end for those who are dying. On their own terms, in their own way. What better way to depart.
